Meet the Team

David M. Parker has worked in pest control since 1973. A certified owner/operator in Georgia and South Carolina, his first company was Ladybug Pest Control, based in Augusta. He established David M. Parker Exterminating in 1986 and moved the business to Thomson in 1990. A Master Naturalist, David enjoys working on his property and traveling to the North Georgia mountains.

Beverly Parker has worked in pest control since 1976, when she and David established Ladybug Pest Control. She is a certified owner/operator in Georgia and South Carolina, and manages the office for David M. Parker Exterminating. An animal lover, “Miss Bev” enjoys spending time with the family’s dogs, Hilda and Pete, running, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.

Caleb Parker began working in his family’s business in 1999, while he was still in high school. He earned a BFA in Printmaking and Sculpture from Augusta State University and cooked at several Augusta restaurants before joining David M. Parker Exterminating full-time. Caleb enjoys the problem-solving component of his work—especially there are opportunities to be creative and to make a healthy, positive impact on the community. In addition to being a certified owner/operator in Georgia and South Carolina, Caleb is certified in mosquito control and public health in Georgia and South Carolina; certified in lawn and ornamental in Georgia; certified in household pest control in Georgia and South Carolina; and certified in wood-destroying organisms in Georgia and South Carolina. When he’s not working, Caleb enjoys gardening, fishing, spending time with his dogs, and traveling with his wife.

Administrative Assistants

Lisa Buckner began working with David M. Parker Exterminating more than six years ago. She likes the company’s warm, family environment, and talking with customers on the phone. In her free time, you can find Lisa spending time with her family—fishing, gardening, swimming, and traveling.

Shandi Chalker has worked with Parker Exterminating since 2016. She appreciates the team-oriented environment the company provides. In her free time, Shandi likes to read, camp, and spend time with her husband.

Charlene Owens joined the Parker Exterminating team in 2017. A people person, she likes working with her office coworkers and talking to customers on the phone. In her free time, Charlene enjoys spending time with her family.
